CADA Art + Design Fair to Debut on Miami Beach in 2025, Expanding the Cultural Landscape of Miami Art Week
Miami Beach, FL — March 15, 2025 — Miami Beach will be home to a new and exciting cultural event in 2025—CADA Art + Design Fair, an immersive tented art experience that will showcase cutting-edge contemporary work from across the globe. With the unwavering support of the City of Miami Beach, CADA will become a must-visit destination for art enthusiasts during Miami Art Week. Positioned strategically on 10th and Ocean Drive between well-known art fairs SCOPE and UNTITLED, which each attract over 60,000 visitors annually, CADA is poised to become a new powerhouse on Miami’s cultural map.
Founded 16 years ago, CADA (Contemporary African Diaspora Art) has long been a celebrated institution, originally focusing on thought-provoking art talks and curated exhibits at the Miami Beach Art Deco Museum during Miami Art Week. This year, CADA takes an ambitious leap forward, expanding its scope to include a full art and design fair. Galleries, artists, and designers from the Americas, the Caribbean, Europe, and Africa will present a diverse range of works, making CADA a global crossroads for contemporary creative expression.
In addition to visual art, CADA will offer a robust schedule of special programming that spans multiple creative industries, including fashion, film, music, performance, and culinary arts. With a focus on cutting-edge innovations, the fair will provide an engaging platform for artists and creatives to connect with collectors, press, museum professionals, and art lovers. Visitors will also enjoy unique collector tours and exclusive events that explore new horizons in creativity.
CADA will fill a vital niche during Miami Art Week, offering a fresh and dynamic experience on the beach. It will also feature an educational component, including a section dedicated to art students and the announcement of its annual artist-in-residence at the end of the fair. This new initiative will provide unprecedented exposure and opportunities for emerging artists around the world.
“We are thrilled to introduce CADA Art + Design Fair to Miami Beach,” said Ludlow E. Bailey, the renowned curator and visionary behind CADA. “With the support of the city and the art community, we are creating a platform that celebrates the richness and diversity of the global African Diaspora, while embracing the future of art and design across multiple disciplines.”
CADA Art + Design Fair will debut in 2025 during the renowned Miami Art Week, and its innovative blend of art, culture, and education will make it a standout addition to Miami’s already vibrant arts scene.
